How we carry out the tests In our specialized workshop, we carry out inflation and pressure tests, controlling variables such as temperature and reading time. We also carry out 24-hour tests to confirm that there are no leaks in the materials or components. All tests are carried out in accordance with each manufacturer’s official protocols.
At Oscar Sierra, we exclusively use original manufacturer spare parts. Our technical staff receives ongoing training directly from the brands, ensuring approved and reliable servicing. We also have a specific department for the servicing and certification of life jackets, ensuring maximum safety at sea.

Most manufacturers recommend an annual inspection, although the frequency may vary depending on the model, applicable regulations, and type of vessel. At Oscar Sierra, we advise you on the exact intervals that apply to your equipment.
We perform inflation tests, pressure tests, and extended checks of up to 24 hours to detect leaks. We also check valves, cylinders, seams, and activation systems, ensuring that the equipment is working properly.
Yes. We inspect both life jackets for adults and children, as well as MOB (Man Overboard) equipment. We adapt each inspection to the regulations corresponding to the type of vessel.
If we detect faults, we replace the damaged components with official spare parts. If the equipment cannot be certified, we advise you on the best alternative to keep your boat safe and comply with regulations.
We have our own workshop in Mallorca, but we can also collect the raft from your port, marina, or dry dock on any of the Balearic Islands: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, or Formentera.
The comprehensive inspection includes checking the inflation bottle, valves, pyrotechnics, radio signal, survival equipment, and the raft fabric itself, all in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
