At Oscar Sierra, we inspect life rafts in Mallorca in strict accordance with each manufacturer's protocols. Our technicians are certified and trained to handle each component, ensuring that all safety features work perfectly when they are most needed.
We have more than 400 m² of covered space with PVC protection, designed to prevent any damage to the rafts or their containers during handling. These facilities make us the largest authorized service station in the Balearic Islands, equipped to guarantee a safe and professional service.
We work with leading brands in the sector, such as Crewsaver, EuroVinil, Ocean Safety, Plastimo, RFD, Survitec Zodiac, SeaCurity, Sea-Safe, Revere, Elliot, Arimar, and Lalizas. Having the direct support of the manufacturers ensures original spare parts and approved servicing.

Most manufacturers recommend an annual inspection, although some equipment may require different intervals depending on the type of vessel, applicable regulations, or the vessel’s flag. At Oscar Sierra, we advise you on the exact frequency required for your equipment.
In addition to jeopardizing the safety of the crew, a raft that has not been inspected may lose its certification and result in penalties during an inspection. Most importantly, you could be left without reliable equipment in the event of an emergency at sea.
Normally, the complete overhaul is carried out within 2 to 5 days, depending on the type of raft, its condition, and the necessary spare parts. We have our own facilities in Mallorca to speed up the process.
Yes. If necessary, we can install replacement equipment while your liferaft is being serviced, so that your vessel continues to comply with regulations without interrupting your sailing plans.
We have our own workshop in Mallorca, but we can also collect the raft from your port, marina, or dry dock on any of the Balearic Islands: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, or Formentera.
The comprehensive inspection includes checking the inflation bottle, valves, pyrotechnics, radio signal, survival equipment, and the raft fabric itself, all in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.
