The most economical way to protect recreational craft and small commercial vessels with spaces up to 38m3 is with extinguishers that use ABC powder. OS Safety Equipment SL can offer a range of these extinguishers from the well-known Italian manufacturer Estintore Cassiano which are fully approved for use in EC vessels by RINA and the EC. Their operation is automatic if fire is detected or, additionally, by using the manual release cable. They are delivered with all the required parts for fitting, copper distribution pipework and nozzles and are easy for boatowners to fit themselves. An example of their economical price is that a system to cover 9m3 (a space 3 meters by 1,5 meters by 1,5 meters) costs only 210 Euros complete (mas IVA)
