We have found a very interesting range of underwater camera systems from the company Praesentis in Barcelona.
The Bleeper
The Bleeper is a minature ROV that will operate to 50 meters depth. It has two propulsion units that make it highly manuverable and one which gives up and down propulsion. It is connected by a 50 meter cable to a combined remote control unit and colour screen which has outlets for recording. It can be fitted with a heading sensor and depth guage which read-out on the screen. Invaluable for examination of Hulls, Propellors, Water Intakes, Moorings or underwater exploration in general. Especially usefull for underwater security patrols of a Yacht.
The Bleeper Pro
Designed more for professional use the Pro will operate to 100 meters. Ideal for Security Services, Construction Surveys and for economical and instant underwater exploration. Supplied with the same screen/control unit as above but can also be supplied with a DVD recording unit complete with flat screen. A ROV unit at a fraction of the cost of current models on the market
The Tulum Camera
The same high quality camera unit as above but mounted on a 4.5 meter telescopic pole. Designed for Surveyors and smaller boat users this unit provides a quick and inexpensive way of examining Hulls and Propellors whilst afloat or surveying the condition of Pontoons or Foundations. Can be supplied with a variety of extras such as Magnets or Grabs to faclitate the recovery of lost items
